Erin
Cade Small
ROCK's Dolce choir director, Erin Cade Small
grew up in Bozeman and graduated from
Montana State University (MSU) in 2007 with
a degree in Music Education. A soprano,
Erin performed in the MSU Chorale from
2003-2007. In 2006, she was the assistant
director/conductor of the University Chorus
as well as the assistant director and member
of a girls octet.
While in Bozeman, Erin was the student
director and assistant for the St. James
Episcopal Church choir and was a soprano
soloist in a performance of Handel's
Messiah at the First Presbyterian
Church. She was a finalist in the Concerto
and Aria competition at MSU in 2006. She
played the role of the First Spirit in
Intermountain Opera Company's production of
Mozart's The Magic Flute, also in
2006.
Erin did her student teaching in Billings at
Meadowlark and Boulder Elementary Schools
and at West High with John Haughey. She
currently teaches at Riverside Middle School
and Newman and Burlington Elementary
Schools. She is a member of the
High Plains
Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Steven
Hart.
