Brianne Roney
Brianne Roney, a
native of Cody, Wyoming, makes her solo debut with
the Rimrock Opera as Flora. She was a member of the
RO ensemble in Nosferatu and La Boheme.
This past summer, she sang the roles of Sister
Dolcina/First Touriere in Sister Angelica
with RO’s One Act Festival. Before coming to
Billings, she performed and competed in everything
from the local to international levels in dance,
instrumental, vocal, and theatrical presentations.
She studied tap, jazz, modern, and ballet for 14
years at the Cody Center for the Performing Arts.
These endeavors allowed Brianne to feel comfortable
on stage at an early age where she felt she was able
to develop her stage presence. Brianne is currently
pursuing her degree in Vocal Performance from
Montana State University-Billings while studying
with Lesley Jorden.
Apart from the
stage, Brianne enjoys playing tennis with the MSU-Billings
tennis team and for the past two years, played #1
singles for them. In Wyoming, she was a two-time
State Champion also playing #1 singles and was
undefeated her last year. Brianne is the Chairperson
for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at MSU-Billings.
