In high school at The Athenian School in
Danville, CA, Mr. Heyneman’s eyes were opened to
the magic of theatre. Completing his
training in technical theater at Rocky Mountain
College in Billings, his early credits included
Ghosts, and Something’s Afoot.
During his college years he lit many productions
at Billings Studio Theatre, including The
Glass Menagerie, Fiddler on the Roof, and
Company. Mr. Heyneman began his career as a
lighting intern at Minneapolis Children’s
Theatre Company, and was later hired as a stage
technician. From 1987 to 1996, Mr. Heyneman was
Technical Director for Montana’s premiere
performing arts center, the Alberta Bair
Theater. His lighting design credits for the ABT
include Brigadoon, Carousel, A Chorus Line,
and South Pacific. Mr. Heyneman ranches
in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains and
spends his winters working in the theater.

Traviata, Madama Butterfly, Die
Fledermaus, Così fan tutte, Elixir of
Love and The Girl of the Golden
West.
